Which career path can I learn today?
The current starter path is Data Analyst. It includes 10 short lessons, 30 quiz questions and hands-on SQL practice. Other career paths are not available yet.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start the learning path and make optional store purchases without a CareerTree account. If you sign in later, review and confirm which on-device records to connect. Signing in alone does not upload your work. The mobile app and the web workspace are separate products.
Can I learn offline?
Bundled lessons and previously opened work are available offline. Opening a new ad-supported session needs a connection and an available ad. Sign-in, purchases, account backup and account restore also need a connection.
When will I see an ad?
Your first new learning session each local day is ad-free. Later eligible lessons, review sessions and Challenge Lab sessions need a completed rewarded ad break or an active ad-free subscription. One break may contain more than one video; the app does not require two separate ad requests for one unlock. There are up to five completed ad-supported unlocks per day. Resuming unlocked work, writing a lesson practice task, reading saved work, Settings and Help do not need an ad. If you decline an ad, your existing work stays available.
What happens if I change phones?
Without an account, your learning records stay on this phone and may be lost if you delete the app, reset the phone or switch devices. To keep supported records, sign in, review what to connect and turn on backup. Only records already backed up to that CareerTree account can be restored; drafts are not backed up. A subscription is separate: restore it with the same Apple Account or Google Play account used to subscribe. Restoring purchases does not restore learning records.
Can I pay to remove ads or support the developer?
Yes. The optional ad-free subscription renews monthly. Its US base price is USD 1.99 per month; your store shows the local price and renewal terms. There is no free trial. Cancel future renewal in Apple or Google subscription settings. Deleting the app or your CareerTree account does not cancel store billing. Separate one-time developer tips have US base options of USD 0.99, USD 2.99 and USD 4.99. Tips do not remove ads or unlock features. No CareerTree account is needed for these store purchases. A web subscription does not unlock mobile purchases.
Will this certify me as a data analyst?
CareerTree offers introductory practice, not a qualification or a job guarantee. Career Proof records show work you have done; they are not professional credentials.
